Lake Management Plan:

SLPOA has engaged Princeton Hydro to plan the long term lake upkeep and management, to help preserve and improve the overall aquatic health of Shongum Lake.  The first phases of the project commenced in spring of 2010.    Some of the tasks already completed:

*   Biological Sampling

*   Watershed Monitoring

*   Endangered Species Survey

*   Data Analysis

*   Preparation of Hydrologic Budget

*   Preparation of Pollutant Budget

*   Bathymetric Survey

*   Evalutation and Analysis of Restoration Alternatives
